The Heart of Viana represents the dedication and worship of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Currently, it is an icon of love and tradition in Minho culture and of the female costume of the feasts of Senhora d'Agonia, in Viana do Castelo. Enameling is a very meticulous art form that involves fusing powdered glass to metal, thus creating a smooth and colorful surface, further highlighting the piece itself.
